In 2012 I began my Loc journey. As I began my journey and while going through the different stages, I was insecure about my look.  Starting with small coils, then into the budding stages until my locs finally matured, I had to look for ways to embrace the journey and still look and feel good about myself. Natural hair and locs was not accepted as much even amongst our own ethnicity. I created this brand  to encourage others to embrace the loc'd culture as it continues to evolve. For women, what we wear and how we accessorize with jewlery encourages our view of ourselves. It makes us feel good. Personalized shirts and apparel are just another "thing" or "item" to speak about how we should feel while embracing the journey. This apparel line is indeed personalized. I want my customers/fellow Loc'd sistahs to see my clothing and feel like it was created just for them. It's not something that just anyone can purchase and wear. I want ladies and gentlemen to see the apparel and be excited about the look of wearing this line of clothing. I want ladies to wear my apparel and the think "Yeah, Loc'd Girlz Rock!" I'm a Loc'd Girl and I ROCK!
